Hugh Banton has had a lifelong career as an organist and electronics engineer. He has been organist with prog-rock pioneers
Van der Graaf Generator from 1968 until the present day, as well as Technical Director at church organ manufacturer Makin Organs during the 1980s & 90s.
Currently he designs and builds digital church organs and has developed his own organ-simulating PC software, 'HB3'.
